On Sunday 1st January 2017, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke prophetically to a Kenyan lady concerning the elections in her country.

This is what he said: “It will be very, very close – and it will be difficult to call. It will be very close [between] the opposition and the ruling. It will be very, very difficult to call… Therefore, what can you expect from there?”

General elections were held in Kenya on 8 August 2017 to elect the President, members of Parliament and devolved governments. Incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta was returned to office with 54% of the vote, a result his main opponent, Raila Odinga, refused to accept. After Odinga contested the results in the Supreme Court, the results were annulled and fresh elections ordered to be held within 60 days.

On Sunday 31st August 2014, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a prophecy concerning military intervention in a Southern African country.

"They are still on in that plan to kidnap either the President or Vice President of that nation or the First Lady of that nation."
